Organic All Natural Breads
We bake a wide range of unique, European style breads made by hand in our fully dedicated kitchen in Chai Wan.
Many of our breads are 100% organic and most contain no commercial yeast, but instead are made with natural starters that we personally developed 6 years ago and use to naturally leaven our breads.
These are true artisanal sourdough breads which take two days to make in order to develop the fullest flavour, and then shaped by hand and baked on a natural stone hearth. However, we still also do old fashioned melt-in-your-mouth American dinner rolls and traditional white and whole wheat sandwich bread too, as well as real NY bagels (yes, they are boiled!).

Gluten Free Bread & Bakery Products
Here at Saffron we are aware that many of you would like more gluten free bread and bakery products. We have therefore sourced what we feel to be the best gluten free flour on the planet.
Doves Farms in the UK have developed an award winning range of Gluten Free Flours .
Their Gluten Free Brown & White Bread Flours are a blend of naturally gluten free and wheat free ingredients and natural gum for an alternative to wheat bread flour.
